How to Install the 612630080087 Fuel Filter:
Preparation: Turn off the engine and allow it to cool. Place a drainage container beneath the filter housing to catch residual fuel.
Removal: Use a professional strap wrench to unscrew the old filter (612630080087) in a counter-clockwise direction.
Cleaning: Clean the mounting base thoroughly, ensuring no old gasket material remains.
Lubrication: Apply a thin film of clean diesel or engine oil to the rubber seal of the new filter.
Tightening: Spin the new filter onto the stud until the gasket makes contact with the base. Tighten by hand an additional 3/4 to 1 full turn (do not over-tighten with tools).
Priming: Use the manual fuel primer pump to bleed air from the system before starting the engine. Check for leaks.
