To maintain fleet safety and component integrity, please follow these professional installation steps:
Chassis Support: Lift the rear of the truck using a heavy-duty hydraulic jack and secure the frame with jack stands. Ensure the rear axle is slightly supported but not under full load.
Removal: Detach the upper mounting bolt of the existing shock absorber. Locate the mounting bolts connecting the WG9925688402 bracket to the chassis rail. Use a high-torque impact wrench to remove the old bolts.
Surface Preparation: Clean the chassis mounting surface with a wire brush to remove rust and debris. This ensures a flush, secure fit for the new bracket.
Alignment & Mounting: Align the new bracket (WG9925688402) with the factory-drilled holes in the frame. Hand-tighten the mounting bolts first to ensure proper threading.
Final Torquing: Tighten all chassis bolts to the manufacturer’s specified torque settings. Reconnect the shock absorber eyelet to the bracket pin and secure it with the lock nut.
Inspection: Lower the vehicle and perform a short test drive to check for any unusual vibration or knocking sounds.
