The 201V12150-0002 hand oil pump is typically used during engine startup after filter changes or fuel system repairs. Before installation, clean all port threads and inspect rubber gaskets — a damaged seal can cause air leaks and prevent proper priming. Connect inlet line from oil tank or fuel sump, outlet to the engine’s lubrication or fuel feed line. Mount securely using the two M8 bolts; vibration can loosen fittings over time. To prime the system, operate the lever slowly at first — around 40–60 strokes per minute — until resistance increases and fluid flows steadily. Avoid dry pumping. After use, close isolation valves and drain residual pressure if stored long-term. Lubricate the plunger O-ring annually with light grease to maintain smooth action and prevent sticking.
