Pre-clean mounting surface with a lint-free cloth dampened in isopropyl alcohol to remove dust, grease, and debris, ensuring a smooth, contaminant-free base for optimal adhesion. Align the unit precisely with the OEM brackets, using alignment pins if provided, to ensure secure and stable positioning. Use the specified silicone gasket (N ° de pièce: 812W62910-0016), which features a flexible, weather-resistant design with a smooth, non-porous surface to prevent fluid leakage and maintain a tight seal. Tighten all bolts to a torque of 25 Nm using a calibrated torque wrench, applying even pressure to avoid over-tightening which may damage threads or the mounting surface. After installation, verify airflow alignment by visually inspecting the inlet and outlet vents to ensure they are unobstructed and properly directed, and use a smoke test or airflow meter if available to confirm proper air circulation through the unit.
