Preparation: Drain transmission oil and remove gearbox from vehicle. Ensure work area is clean to avoid contamination.
Disassembly: Remove selector rod retaining clip and slide out the old shift fork. Inspect mating surfaces on the synchronizer hub for wear.
Fitting: Align new shift fork (WG2214220096) with selector rod groove. Make sure fork legs engage smoothly with the synchro sleeve.
Torque Specs: Reinstall retaining bolt to 18–22 Nm. Do not over-tighten — risk of thread stripping.
Testing: Refill with GL-4 or GL-5 80W-90 gear oil. Test shifting in neutral position before full reassembly.
