For safety and optimal performance, we recommend this part be installed by a certified heavy-truck technician:
-
Initial Safety: Park on a flat surface and chock the wheels. Ensure the air pressure in the system is fully exhausted before attempting to remove the brake chamber.
-
Eliminación: Remove the air chamber from the old bracket. Unscrew the mounting bolts that attach the bracket to the axle housing. Nota: These bolts may require penetrating oil if rust is present.
-
Positioning: Align the new WG9981340033 bracket with the mounting flange on the left side of the rear axle. Ensure the bracket sits perfectly flush.
-
Securing: Use Grade 10.9 high-strength bolts. We recommend replacing old bolts to avoid fatigue-related failure. Torque the bolts according to Sinotruk's factory specifications (typically found in the HOWO service manual).
-
Chamber Re-attachment: Re-mount the brake chamber onto the bracket. Connect the pushrod and air lines.
-
Final Test: Start the engine to build air pressure. Perform a static brake test to ensure the bracket does not move or vibrate during the
