Replacing a suspension bracket requires precision to ensure the longevity of your shocks. From a fleet mechanic's perspective, we recommend the following:
-
Préparation: Support the chassis with a jack and ensure the rear axle is stabilized. Do not attempt replacement while the suspension is under full compression.
-
Suppression: Use a pneumatic impact wrench to remove the mounting bolts connecting the shock absorber to the YG9925688412 bracket. Inspect the frame holes for any signs of "ovaling" or stress fractures.
-
Surface Cleaning: Before installing the new assembly, clean the mounting surface on the chassis rail with a wire brush to remove rust. This ensures a flush, secure fit.
-
Torque Specs: Use new Grade 10.9 high-strength bolts. Tighten to the Sinotruk factory-recommended torque settings (usually between 180-220 Nm for this component class) to prevent loosening under heavy vibration.
-
Alignment Check: Après l'installation, check the vertical alignment of the shock absorber to ensure no side-loading is applied to the piston rod.
